The Sturgis Guns 44 Magnum

Sturgis Gun’s Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum 29 Classic DX

Built in June of 2015 for Sturgis Guns by Roger Buchko of Phillipsburg, NJ. The truck-sized revolver is an exact replica of the Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum. Weighing approximately 350 pounds, it is affixed to a 1,200 pound steel base mounted on a concrete pedestal. It is constructed of wood and PVC pipe, covered by fiberglass and automotive paint. The cylinder, mounted on ball bearings, spins in a good breeze. It a favorite of tourists visting the Black Hills and the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
