The fire sleeve can be used as a stand alone product for mirage mitigation, but does not have a rear cinch to prevent forward movement on your can.
The fire sleeve is constructed with a fiberglass internal lining and silicone rubber external coating. It can withstand temperatures of up to 500°F continuous exposure, 2200°F for periods up to 15 minutes, and short excursions to 3000°F.
Warning: This product contains fiberglass, which can be a skin irritant. Use gloves when handling, and wash hands and clothing thoroughly if exposed.
