Tac-79 37mm Top Break Launcher

Please note: this particular launcher is great for land or water use.  It is USCG approved, however, if you would like to use it for maritime use, select the USCG version of the launcher above.  We will engrave the USCG certified number (160.028/29/0) on the side of the launcher and include a 37mm - 12ga boat flare adapter which gives the launcher the ability to fire standard 12ga boat flares (if desired). The USCG version of the launcher is also reinforced with stainless steel screws on the outward facing components to better resist corrosion in a marine environment.

Our 37mm Launchers are NOT firearms.  Do NOT fire any round meant for a firearm in any 37mm launcher.  Specifically, do not use an adapter to fire 12 gauge or centerfire rounds or rimfire rounds.  DO NOT use Beehive rounds.  This launcher is not a firearm and damage to yourself, or the launcher is likely if you violate this warning.  Further, you would be in violation of BATF rules.  The Warranty will be void under any of these conditions.  Please review our warranty Legal, Privacy & Return Policy

The Tac-79 is a launcher that can be purchased in a variety of different configurations:

• TACTICALLY, WITH A COLLAPSIBLE AR STOCK

• CONVENIENTLY, AS A PISTOL WITH A 6" BARREL

• HISTORICALLY, WITH AN AUTHENTIC MIL-SURP M79 FIBERGLASS STOCK

• USCG Approved!

The Tac-79 comes with one 4" Picatinny Rail mounted at the 12 o'clock position on the breech end of the barrel.

The barrel also has a 6" rail on the bottom.

Drilled and tapped to accept any AR compatible butt stock using only the buffer tube, castle nut and alignment plate. Buffer and Buffer Spring are not required.

The Tac-79 handles standard 37mm ammunition. Available ammunition includes flares, smoke and other pyrotechnic rounds for civilian use. If you are a member of law enforcement or the military you can have a variety of “Less Than Lethal” rounds at your disposal. These include Batons, CS Gas, Wildlife Management (Bird Control) and crowd dispersing Rubber Pellets. The Tac-79 is ideal for use by SWAT Teams and others with critical tactical requirements.
